Airforce + Gang + Esclavitud

Apocalipsis Events Canarias presenta a la banda inglesa AIRFORCE, la francesa GANG y la banda local ESCLAVITUD.

AIRFORCE:

Chop Pitman (guitars) and Tony Hatton (bass) played together in a band called E.L-34. However the band split up in the mid-1980s.

Chop was a very good friend of Steve Harris ( Iron Maiden ) and mentioned to Steve that he was looking for a drummer to form a new band along with Tony Hatton. Steve Harris introduced Chop to former Iron Maiden drummer Doug Sampson. Steve Harris took Doug Sampson to the studio and Chop Pitman. Steve Harris and Doug Sampson had a jamming session together. Doug Sampson then decided to join Chop Pitman and Chop's ex-bandmate Tony Hatton.

Airforce was Born.

The band gigged together for over 11 yrs with various vocalists.

They then decided to go on their separate ways and were involved with other projects - Chop Pitman carried on with the band name Airforce with various musicians.

In 2010 he met up with vocalist Dilian Arnaudov through a friend and asked him to stand in for a gig as Airforce vocalist. After a while Dilian had to return to his native Bulgaria due to family issues but he stayed in touch with Chop.

In 2015 Airforce was contacted by Watchout Records and was asked if the band would supply a track for the "Origins of Iron" cd which featured all ex Iron Maiden members.

Airforce then released a Compilation album ( "Judgement Day" ) in 2016 which stirred a renewed interest in the band.

Doug Sampson and Tony Hatton came to the launch party of that album and at that point It was collectively decided to get the original band back together. After they auditioned Dilian Arnaudov, the missing piece of the puzzle was found.

Dilian and the band wasted no time in writing new material and performing all over the UK and other parts of Europe.

In 2018 Airforce released two E.P.s: "The Black Box Recordings" volumes 1 and 2. Paul Di'Anno (ex-Iron Maiden singer) was invited to record 1 song ('Sniper') for the 2nd EP.

Later that year, Italian singer Ivan Giannini (Derdian, Vision Divine) started helping the band fulfill their live commitments.

In January 2019 Airforce recorded 1 song with Paul Mario Day on vocals. Paul Mario Day was the very first singer of Iron Maiden and also sang with More, Wildfire and Sweet).

GANG: 

1990-2000, GanG se forge sa réputation dans l'hexagone autour de nombreux concerts, démos et albums ("1993", "Unknown but Surely Evil"). Musicalement, le groupe se cherche encore et favorise une approche plus thrash.

2000-2010 : malgré un line-up instable et faute de batteur permanent, GanG reste néanmoins actif réalisant trois albums ("Piece of War", "Dead or Alive" & "V"), marquant progressivement un retour aux sources du Heavy metal.

2010-2017 marque définitivement le retour aux affaires du groupe Fismois. GanG renoue avec la scène. Le groupe effectue son "coming out" à grands renforts de Heavy Metal old school. Les albums s'enchaînent : "V" en 2010, "HM-666%" en 2012, "Heavy Metal Road 666 (Live)" en 2012, "Inject the Venom" en 2014, "Heavy Metal Samouraï" et "Live is All" en 2015, un live enregistré à Manchester au Royaume-Uni.

Le groupe enchaîne les tournées et festivals, tant en France qu'en Europe, et les premières parties de groupes mythiques : Venom inc, Tokyo Blade, Tygers of Pan Tang, Paul Di'Anno, Blaze Bayley, O.D.Saxon, Grave Digger, Rage, Girlschool, Uli Jon Roth, Loudness, Y&T, Rock Goddess, Tysondog, Praying Mantis, ADX, Vulcain, Satan Jokers, Attentat Rock, Blasphème, Killers,...

2018 voit la sortie de "All for One", le nouvel album studio du groupe. Totalement décomplexé, GanG confirme la tendance amorcée autour d'"Inject the Venom". Sa recette à base de Heavy Metal old school proche de la NWOBHM prend désormais toute sa saveur autour des 9 brûlots que constitue l'album.

"All for One" montre un nouveau visage de GanG tout en restant dans la continuité des précédents efforts. L'album laisse la part belle aux influences majeures du groupe "Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Tokyo Blade, Black Sabbath, ADX, ..."

Chaque morceau révèle une ambiance différente à base d'énergie survitaminée ("The Almighty", "The legend", "Devil in Me"), de pesanteur et d'ambiances majestueuses ("Another Tomorrow", "Follow the sign"), de twins guitars débridées ("Warchild"). Les riffs sont encore plus incisifs et le groupe laisse également la part belle aux arrangements soignées en témoigne le titre "Save me" ou plus encore le morceau titre de l'album qui flirte avec les 14 minutes . Pour clôturer ce nouvel album, le groupe s'est également approprié un titre des excellents Attentat Rock "Lord tell me", groupe culte de la scène française des années 80s.

Enregistré au studio BGS Music, GanG a volontairement gardé la couleur authentique du son 80's tout en lui conférant une dynamique encore plus poussée. "All for one" garde donc cette couleur analogique chère à toute la vague heavy originelle : batteries acoustiques, guitares acérées, basse ronflante,... L'arsenal complet des groupes appartenant à la NWOBHM.

Cerise sur le gâteau, "All for one" fait l'objet de nombreux guests qui ont voulu apporter leur touche à cet album : Steve Morrison de Tysondog (guitare solo) sur "Follow the sign", Vince Vercaigne d'Amartia (guitares acoustiques), Fabrice Fourgeaud d'Attentat Rock et Betov d'ADX (guitare solo), Stephane Sauvage de Ed Hunters et Last Prophecy (basse) sur "All for one", Marc Quee (chant) sur "Lord tell me", Thierry Tripenne & Aurélien Pauchet de Spirit (guitare solo) sur "The Legend" et "Devil in Me", Tony Dolan de Venom Inc. (voix) sur "All for one",…

La pochette de l'album a été une nouvelle fois réalisée par le dessinateur attitré du groupe depuis 2012, Olivier Salin aka Bones et poursuit les aventures du Metal Doc'.

A l'orée d'une nouvelle tournée 2017-2019, GanG se prépare activement à fouler les planches pour délivrer, comme à son habitude, un show tumultuant et débridé.

ESCLAVITUD:

Esclavitud nace en el año 1996 bajo el nombre de Slavery en La Laguna (Tenerife). Tras algunos cambios en la formación y la adopción de su nombre definitivo, la banda graba tres maquetas durante sus primeros años. En 2007, graba ‘Involución’, su primer disco, y en 2011 cuenta con Andi Deris, vocalista de Helloween, y con el prestigioso ingeniero de sonido Charlie Bauerfeind como productores de ‘Condenados Al Paraíso’. Este segundo álbum les lleva a girar por todo el Estado compartiendo escenario con WASP, Michael Schenker, Hammerfall, Warcry, Saurom, Barricada, Lujuria o Koma. En 2016, el vocalista Adrián Lugo abandona la banda para dejar paso a Marc Quee (ex vocalista de la banda francesa Attentat Rock), con el que la banda retorna a su idea original de cantar en inglés.

‘Return To Eden’, su último álbum (2017), supone para la banda canaria un regreso en todos los sentidos. El mismo se centra en el reencuentro del hombre con sus rasgos más humanos, un retorno al paraíso en contraposición a una humanidad decadente controlada por los poderes fácticos. En torno a ese concepto, Esclavitud relata en primera persona todo el proceso de vuelta a los orígenes: el funcionamiento del poder, la guerra contra lo establecido, la esperanza que supone un mundo nuevo o el deseo humano de vivir bajo otras circunstancias, tal y como narra “How I Wish”, single del disco que retrata fielmente el universo sonoro del mismo. El disco, cuyo diseño ha corrido a cargo de Hiurma Delgado, ha sido grabado, producido, mezclado y masterizado por Esclavitud y David Correa en los D.C. Estudios de Tenerife.
